CompactFlash Memory Cards
The CompactFlash Memory card Series C3 is a small form factor, removable data storage device. The memory cards weigh only a half ounce. It has a 50-pin connector interface to the host system and is functionally compliant with the PC Card ATA specification. The CompactFlash memory cards can be the digital film in small light weight digital cameras currently being developed for the consumer market. Next generation cellular phones with CompactFlash sockets and cards can send, receive, and store faxes or voice mails. CompactFlash technology also provides a much improved mass-storage solution to tomorrow's PDA, PCA, palmtops, or handheld devices, If designed into the new generation pagers, the CF cards can be the storage of lengthy voice messages left on the pagers. Small handheld Voice Recorders employing CompactFlash technology can store audio messages on CF cards capable of holding several hours of sound. This card uses NAND-based flash memory devices. With ATA interface, if emulate an IDE hard disk rive providing the capability to easily capture, retain, and transport data, audio, and images between a variety of digital systems. The CompactFlash Card is super lower-power design with Flash technology's ruggedness, high performance, reliability, and convenience. It operates in 3.3-V/5-Volt power supply and comes in capacity of 4MB, 8MB, 16MB, 32MB unformatted.
